Refund Policy
Fair and simple: 14 days, any reason.
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Patternarium's free Starter plan never charges you anything, so this policy is about one thing: payments for Patternarium Pro, our paid subscription.
The policy
- You may request a full refund of any Patternarium Pro purchase — monthly or annual — within 14 days of the date of that purchase, for any reason. No questions asked.
- This applies to renewals too: if a subscription renews and you didn't mean to keep it, ask within 14 days of the renewal charge and we'll refund it in full.
- After 14 days, charges are generally non-refundable, but if something has gone wrong — a billing error, a double charge, a problem on our end — contact us and we will make it right.
How to request a refund
- Email support@patternarium.app from the address on your account, or use the contact form. Just say you'd like a refund — you don't need to give a reason.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, applicable taxes, and refund processing, and will return the money to your original payment method. You can also reach Paddle directly via the receipt email they sent you.
- Refunds are issued promptly on our side; depending on your bank or card issuer, the money typically appears within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling instead of refunding
- You can cancel your subscription at any time — no questions asked. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period. If you want that too and you're within the 14-day window, just ask.
- If your collection is over the free plan's limits when Pro ends, nothing is deleted — everything stays safe and visible; you just can't add beyond the free limits until you upgrade again.
Purchases made through the App Store
- Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS app are billed by Apple, not Paddle, and refunds for those follow Apple's process: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. We can't issue App Store refunds ourselves, but email us if you get stuck and we'll help however we can.
