Privacy Policy

Your information, kept simple.

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Patternarium respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep your information private.

Information we collect

When you join the Patternarium waitlist, we may collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your name, if provided
  • Optional answers you submit through the signup form, such as the types of patterns you collect, how many patterns you own, or what organization problems you are hoping Patternarium will solve

We only collect the information needed to manage the waitlist, understand what future users need, and contact you about Patternarium.

How we use your information

We may use your information to:

  • Send Patternarium updates
  • Invite you to early access or beta testing
  • Understand what features are most useful to sewists, collectors, and pattern sellers
  • Improve the website, signup process, and future product

We will not sell your personal information.

Your private collection

Patternarium is being built around a clear privacy principle: your personal collection is private by default.

The public Archive is intended for general sewing pattern information, such as brand, pattern number, garment type, format, or other catalog details.

Your personal Collection — including what you own, storage locations, private notes, condition details, duplicates, and inventory information — will not be made public without your choice.

Email updates

If you join the waitlist, we may email you about Patternarium updates, early access, beta invitations, and launch news.

You can unsubscribe or ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time.

Third-party tools

Patternarium may use trusted third-party tools to manage forms, emails, analytics, hosting, or website functionality. These tools may process information only as needed to provide their services.

For example, if the signup form is powered by a form provider, your submitted information may be stored through that provider.

Data retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to manage early access, contact interested users, and improve Patternarium.

You may ask us to delete your waitlist information at any time.
